Yay! 8D I did it! For awhile I wasn't sure if I would be able to participate in

's 9 Levels of Hell contest, but I managed to finish both my entries x3 I'm excited... now I just hope I can keep with it.

So let me explain about what's happening. Esmeralda losses something very precious to her in the first level of these trails of suffering: her mother. Besides loving her mother limitlessly, she was the only other she could relate herself to, so it was a heavy loss. This is actually canon, but in the story she loses her mom when she is 6, so slightly taken out of context here. When a Child of the AUM dies it returns to the AUM and becomes one with it once more. Esmeralda longs to rejoin the AUM too, but her mother taught her the importance of life so she must stay behind. She was told not to morn the dead, since she knows there is something good beyond, but she's still only human and misses her mother. Her mother's spirit has come to comfort her for the last time. Also, MaTb is "Mother" in Russian, in case you wondered.

I'm actually pretty happy with how this came out, considering how much time I had. I wish I could have done something more with the black BG, but nothing is coming to mind. Also, I don't mean to offend anyone with my take on Russia and the mythology of the AUM. I've used my own creative license with it and it shouldn't be taken too seriously. It's a work of fiction! Enjoy!

Don't worry about the simple black background, less is more in this case. And besides, I hardly noticed it since I was staring at the beautiful in front of it. Can't wait to see the rest!

Aww.. yeah I read your journal, I've been meaning to comment >.< I'm so bad I keep doing that xD; I'm ok.... incredibly bored X__x; I'm working on some illustrations for a job but I couldn't find a stable job. And then I've just been lazy .__.;I can't wait until school starts!!
