A Bedtime Story for Danni by ExiledChaos A Bedtime Story for Danni by ExiledChaos
This is kinda old. The teacher put it right up in the display case after I turned it in and didn't have time to take a picture. It was an assignment based off of Van Allsburg's The mysteries of Harris Burdick in which we were given a short phrase and had to make a picture to go along with it.

My Phrase: " Suddenly, they were someplace they hadn't seen before."

... and I came up with a fantasy, bedtime story-ish picture. =3 I like the picture mostly... this photo is kinda shitty though x__x sorry. I already tried like 12 times to take a decent picture though...

Anyway, I need to get other things ready now. I'll be leaving for Illuxcon tomorrow >>; I'm so excited and nervous!

(P.S. 10 points and a cookie for who ever guesses which one is Danni. 8D )

Art belongs to me. Do not use.

I do really like this picture, but you're right, it's a terrible photo. I think it's salvageable, though. If you take it into Photoshop, desaturate it and make it pure B/W instead of colored sepia; then mess with the levels and curves settings, you should be able to get it looking pretty good. A little transform>warp or skew should correct the slight curve of the edges, too.

Photographing work can be a bitch, but that's why we have Photoshop magic. :D

Aww, I know how you feel about the cameras. It's really hard, unless you have a really nice camera and know how to use it. The best digital representation I have of any piece of art was taken on a camera, not scanned... but all the ones I've done myself have been awful.
