Anime World Chicago 2012 Chibi Commissions

Gah! Been meaning to post this for awhile, sorry it's so late.... I had to do alot of manipulation on these since I was taking these pictures on my boyfriend's iphone and the lighting in the room was really bad... I hope I didn't wash out too much of the lines and colors.


I did these all over a 2 day period. I took sketch, lineart, and color chibi commissions. My messy little booth is in the top left corner I tried to organize these in semi-chronological order. Blue borders indicate orders from a single person. I also took progress shots, thus all the linearts, but some people also ordered just linearts.



The top right was of a girls OC, I don't think I got her name The OC was temperamental and mean though. I had fun with the pose and emotion.


The next row left was from someone who wanted a human chibi Derpy Hooves x3 I was glad to do it, and might use the basis of this design to make another My Little Pony: Chibi Human series illustration.


The second row right that continues down in a long skinny column are from and his friend. First was the second set, their OC girl I colored, and the lineart below that. The one above those with the crazy hair woman and the little guy are her powered up form and another character. I had a TON of fun drawing her, especially her powered up form.


The 3rd row (the guy in the coat) is Sion from the anime series No.6. I don't really know anything about the series, but the character is cute >>;


The fourth row was really fun, with a cool lady named Elizabeth asking for a chibi form of herself. We had a nice conversation and she and I were happy with how it turned out


The last one is from (a personal friend x3) and her characters Celtic and Autum . They are a couple, and she best described them as: Celtic=idiot and Autum=bitch xD x3 so I had fun with posing them together. I hope you like it Brat!


I also did 2 chibi sketches for someone of Italy from Hetalia and Rin from Blue Exorcist, but I forgot to take pictures of them And on the last day I did a speed sketch commission of someone's OC and the guy was in such a rush I forgot to take a picture again xD; opps...




Lots of fun, my fingers felt like they would fall off by the end of the weekend xD And I will likely take more of a variety of commissions next convention (ex: chibi, sytlized character, realistic portrait, idk...), which will be either AnimeCrossraods or ACen... lol. And others... I hope to start doing this more regularly.


Thanks again to those who stopped by my booth and/or got prints/commissions. It was a fun weekend and I hope to do it again!

Oh yeah... forgot. All Colors are prismacolor markers, with maybe some colored pencil. Lines by Sakurapens, paper is card stock.
