I did this a while ago actually, but didn't have time to scan and upload it... the piece is pretty large so I ended up having to scan in 5 or 6 parts and patching it together in Photoshop... sheesh
This is Birth, or Life, for a project exploring the duality of life and death. I used
this statue for some pose reference, though the photo I had of it was from a different angle. I also went with a lazy art nouveau framing style, since I like that stuff x3 The flowers are all representative of life... I don't remember everything I have in there.. but I remember I chose them specifically for their symbolic meanings. I kept everything very smooth and light to further contrast with the death side.
