Another example of a commission. This would be in the "Stylized" catagory, under either Bishoujo or Shoujo ( :paranoid: If it was fully body, I could tell XD)

This coloring is more shaded and would end up alittle more expensive; and also I should say: the hair... ( :shakefist: took me forever and I had to draw half of it on my computer with my tablet, so it took a while XD) ...is what I would consider "high detail" (Duh..) If you look at my Bunny girl commission, I have a list of what basics I charge upon, (and also I made a ton of stuff for the farmer's market that out lines my prices very well that I will put somewhere, maybe)

So as an example, I would charge this one by the price of a stylized lineart (for a single chara)
+ price of "special" coloring (and no, the cherry blossom petals floating around DON'T count as a multiple subject XD)
+ the price of detail(wouldn't be too much)

+ the price of a simple background (The only time I would conside a background "interactive", is if they are either "interacting" with it (duh XD), or if it's a heavily detailed setting (which would probably be in the detail section)
* So total, the price would be around......dudududu *think think* ... maybe $33 or so. (I wasn't such how much to charge the detail :? it did cause me quite abit agony XD and, futhermore, prices can be negotiated..) For the whole kitten-kaboodle :aww: (aww..kitty XD)

Ok, I'm done with my shameless self advertising :devilish: I love the hair on this :aww: Except i was really dumb when drawing this in my sketchbook, and I had to draw the half end of the floofy hair with the tablet XD (I whinned about before) My lines art so gloss,a dn it took a long time before I was satisfied. The fluffy trees in the bg were fun to draw too, and the clouds! |D~
Another thing that popped up in my mind when I started to color.... she suddenly looked like Princess Snow Kaguya, from Sailor Moon! XD She looked even more like her before I colored her lace collar black, since it looked like snow flakes XDD Wheee! kinda makes me want to watch SailorMoon now 8D.

Seeya^_~

Sigh, theres just something about cherry blossoms; I guess they remind me of home, seeing as how we used to have two majestic old cherry trees, untill a damn wood pecker killed one and maimed the other. Now I feel sad...

Looks pretty good. The Bg works well and the overall piece turned out quite nicely. The flow of the hair kinda looks odd around the shoulder. It almost seems like it's pushing against the wind. It may just be a decision baised off the style.

The colors look nicely blended as well. As for the drawing itself, the jawline seems a bit off. It's really tough to line up at an angle and I struggle with it as well. I think the chin should be shifted to the left just a little, but it may be a bit too late to be worth going back to correct.

Thanks for commenting =D Yeah... I had a odd feeling about the entire face in this one, hm... I guess maybe when compared to my more natural style. I donno XD I'll definately pay attention to the jaw though the next time a draw; I always tend to make it too narrow or too thin, but I didn't know it was so noticable in this peice. Thanks for pointing it out^^
