I have a place I need to be, so I'll have a better comment later.

This is Doppelganger from my Lunar Hoax story. This picture was for a cool Illustration project in which we made a mask and then models if and made an illustration out of it. I'll try to get pictures of the mask up soon.

I thought I did an ok job on this, but apparently the teacher didn't like it too much =\ Pisses me off...

thanks =) eh.... lots of reasons...I could go into it but I'll just say mostly the fact that I need to start "pushing it further" xD since it'd take too long to go over everything she said again ^^;

Frankly the background and the lighting are dramatically wonderful!! I am loving all the little details. My only qualm is that I can't really make out the hands. I'm gonna guess its hands aren't normal lol... but still my mind can't perceive how the hands work. Thus that little part throws my mind off. But other than that, beautiful piece. You should develop it more ^_^

Did she say why she didn't like it? Maybe she was looking for something specific for the assignment? Or maybe it wasn't really her style?? o.o It IS creepy :lmao:

aww thanks! :hug: I really like the lighting too x3 It was a bitch to do X__x;

lol! Yeah! The hands are one of the reasons she didn't like it, and I totally understand that (actually... this was done in maybe 5 hours total at 5 am before class <<; ) I didn't get to develop the body as nicely as the head, which was a big mistake since she has an odd body with arms that are basically giant burlap sacks xD So she had problems with the anatomy and the rendering of the body in comparison to the head. Then she was looking at little mistakes in the bg and how, since I have a good handle on 'basics' in digital, I need to start pushing it alittle further. and stuff like that... I guess I shouldn't be too offended since I guess this means I'm getting better...(?) xD

aww thanks =D aahhh whoa! So you have a C last name too then?? Just gets weirder and weirder xDD Ehh... well, I don't know if she liked it or not, but she kept saying I could take it to the next level, which I guess means I have a good enough handle on it right now but could get better... I donno =\ It sounded more like criticism then encouragement, so I don't know if she's being especially harsh on me because I can do better or what >>; She seems to do that alot to me. Anyways, next semester I'm taking a independent study in a class for digital painting so I'm really excited x3 I just hope I'm not getting in over my head, like I usually do ^^;
