The project I worked on a while ago, my first children's book publication. It was very fun, and a new learning experience.

"Why Doesn't Daddy Feel So Well?" is a book aimed at younger kids in families coping with an alcoholic parent. The book no doubt has a serious subject matter, but Rick did an excellent job of making it so young kids could understand. That said, I also tried my best to make the illustrations colorful and calming for a younger audience possibly dealing with a stressful issue.

Chapter 1 is mostly an introduction of the family, and their lives before alcoholism.

Interesting that it's listed for 12.99 on Authorhouse's site, but Amazon puts it at 18.99.

yeah =\ Rick pointed that out to me. Very odd, and apparently he gets a better part of the share with the authorhouse site... which sucks because we didn't know about that until we (and our families) managed to buy a collective 20+ books from Amazon >.< booo...
