The project I worked on a while ago, my first children's book publication. It was very fun, and a new learning experience.

"Why Doesn't Daddy Feel So Well?" is a book aimed at younger kids in families coping with an alcoholic parent. The book no doubt has a serious subject matter, but Rick did an excellent job of making it so young kids could understand. That said, I also tried my best to make the illustrations colorful and calming for a younger audience possibly dealing with a stressful issue.

Chapter 3 Mom and the kids worry about Daddy, who seems to be always sick now, and sad. This spot also serves as the books Cover.
