The project I worked on a while ago, my first children's book publication. It was very fun, and a new learning experience.

"Why Doesn't Daddy Feel So Well?" is a book aimed at younger kids in families coping with an alcoholic parent. The book no doubt has a serious subject matter, but Rick did an excellent job of making it so young kids could understand. That said, I also tried my best to make the illustrations colorful and calming for a younger audience possibly dealing with a stressful issue.

Chapter 4 is really the turning point, though still sad. Daddy admits to the family his problem and starts to take steps to correcting it by going to a rehab facility.
