Part 1 of a 3 part series for my Drawing class. The assignment was.. pretty much anything we wanted x3 so I went with a theme very dear to me; once again, ladies and gentlemen, my dreams: (x3 lol... )

I had a dream a few days prior to when this project was assigned. The dream was so bleak and depressing, but still so stunningly beautiful and real to me. A young boy and girl traveled through a doomed world, slowly turning to dust and disintigating into white nothingness. No "chosen one" or magic quest, just two lonely children trying to survive in the only world they've known. What caught me about their Apocalypse was that normal, I would think a world would end in fire, or war, or brimstone like a comet hitting the world or global warming flooding everything. But with thier world, it was more like a drawing being erased, leaving nothing but empty space behind. The continents broke off from the disapperaing land and floated in the space, until they finally unraveled too. The dream ended with the boy and girl sitting on a little raft in an ocean of nothingness and they too disppeared. But in the end, there was a sense of hope, that maybe the world would be reborn someday and maybe then the boy and girl can exist again.

I hope maybe to be able to write more about it, like in a children's book even. x3 lol. But for now, sticking to assignments. I'm quite happy with how this turned out^^ although, lol, the critque she gave it was....very critical... XD Not so much on compostion but concept. It was confusing xD so I won't elaborate on it; but I'm happy with it and a lot of other people liked it too, i think .
